Bloodborne Pathogen Prevention Training Course
Recognized certificate for Body Art Artists.
The bloodborne Pathogens course is by far the most comprehensive industry-specific Bloodborne Pathogens training program available for the body modification industry. This 2-hour course covers both regulations and training requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and is unique in that it is taught and applied specifically to the body modification industry. Topics covered include overview of sterilization and infection controls and safety guidelines, and the latest interpretations covering topics as they relate to traditional tattooing, cosmetic tattooing and body piercing. This certificate is recognized as a pre-requisite if you wish to participate in upcoming USA Tattoo Conventions. A brief overview of infection control is also covered.

Carson Hill - “Using Neuma Tattoo Machine”

He is the inventor of Neuma Tattoo Machines in 2000, the high-tech tattoo experience. It has since produced many fast growing tattoo artists who gained recognition and respect in their works these few years by using these machines. To name a few artists, they include Mike Devries, Mike DeMasi, Mario Rosena, Big Gus, Nikko Hurtado, etc are users of Neuma Tattoo Machines.
He will be giving a seminar on the Neuma. Topics include machine specifications, regulator specification, setting up the Neuma from start to finish, manufacture guarantee and cost. There will also be an interactive demonstration.
Neuma's are the first pneumatic tattoo machine ever made and the next step in the evolution of the tattoo industry. It has no electrical components and therefore is entirely autoclave-able which results in a much cleaner, safer tattoo experience for both the artist and the subject. It has no electrical surges and run much smoother than a traditional electric machine. It is extremely light weight and has a more symmetrical and balanced feel for the artist as to cut way down on wrist soreness and fatigue. Its lightweight design also adds to the comfort of the customer with noticeably less pain than with the traditional electric machine. |
